Sweet lime, also known as Mosambi, is a variety of citrus fruit that is native to India and is known for its sweet and juicy flesh. Unlike traditional limes, which are tart and acidic, sweet limes have a low acidity level and are much sweeter in taste. They are typically round or oval in shape and range in color from green to yellow, depending on their level of ripeness. Sweet limes are widely consumed fresh as a snack, and are also used in juices, smoothies, and other beverages.
